We had three players on the starting offense out of position.

I wouldn't hang my hat on it. Kids change a lot (between eighth and ninth grades). You have the kids in the spring and some kids play up.

This week we have focused on playing every play the right way. We can't afford for any of our players to take any plays off. Last week, we took too many plays off and turned the ball over twice.

We are hoping to build from our first win last week. Trinity has a very good program. Their offense is excellent. They will be ready to play after having last week off.

Our main focus will be to have a quick start and not wait until the second half to make plays.

All week long we talked about executing better and about being football players, not spectators. We kept it simple. We got back to basics and got after it.

We played football tonight. We simplified things and talked about being football players and not spectators.

We are modeling it after the high school. It's good stuff. The kids like it and we like it.

We are looking for consistency and effort from our offense to get where we think we should be. Oakdale had some bad luck versus Central and they will be well prepared (tonight).
