It is amazing that after being told what the rules were on three occasions he went and did it again in April (with DNA Bioscience) and did not consult the committee again.

The Prime Minister needs to have proper security. But I'm not at all persuaded that hiring luxury yachts on behalf of the security services to travel with the Prime Minister while he is on a luxury cruise is a good use of taxpayers' money.

There has to be a real question about whether it is right or sensible for somebody in this position to have such close links with No 10.

This shows a lack of judgment that calls into question whether he should remain in the government.

David Davis's campaign has gone into reverse and the opportunity has now arisen for us to become the champions of the right. David Cameron is going to get into the run-off. We need to look at who has got the momentum to beat him.

We've got a continuing threat from terrorism, the health service is in financial chaos, there's a possible petrol price crisis, and yet the prime minister doesn't even seem to think it important to spend time at his own desk back in Britain.

This is yet another example of the government saying something about transport and the environment that the small print renders useless. How can the government trumpet its green credentials with a zero rate of tax when people can't actually buy the cars that would benefit from it?

Clearly there are things you cannot realistically do as Prime Minister because they are going to incur disproportionate costs.

Everyone agrees we need to get more freight on to rail. But the Government is cutting the grant necessary to do this. It is another example of a promise being broken.
