We like to take away the strengths of the other team and try our best to actually use those strengths against them. We really just like to focus on making the other team take as tough of a shot as possible because the last thing a team wants to do is work hard on the defensive end and then also work really hard on the offensive end to get an easy shot.

We like to make it interesting for our parents and everybody. We like keeping it close.

He's a great player, and it's really hard to stop those kinds of players, especially down low. He uses his body very well, because he can take contact but still get a good shot up, so he gets to the free throw line a lot, and that's where he does a lot of damage.

Those early victories help. We were playing with plenty of confidence entering MIAA play.

I told [Kirby] this was our time and we need to step up and make some plays. We just didn't want to lose.

He came with a crossover. He had gotten me a couple times in the first half, and I read his move and beat him to the spot and was fortunate enough to get a good piece of the ball.

Derek's been the key to our team.

We've taken on a lot of quality opponents, we've played a lot of good teams and we've beaten a lot of good teams. I still think some teams don't think we're for real yet.

It was just the release of some emotions. I didn't have much energy left to do anything else. I was pretty excited. It was a pretty big win for us. The win told us a lot about our character.
