The thing I like most out of our girls in both games is ... the girls didn't get down. Their maturity level between last year and this year is a phenomenal difference.

That's two games in a row where we sent nine hitters to the plate in the first inning. That's one of the things I talked to them about ... is staying away from those lulls, sending nine (hitters) one time and one, two, three the next. We need to get to where we're consistent, but I can't complain. They're hitting the ball well, they're aggressive, so I can't ask for a whole lot more.

For her to throw a one-hitter, she had complete control. She was never threatened on the bases or anything.
