We're very pleased so far.

I think all of us were surprised.

The amendment I'm proposing does not change the decision to move forward with this cost-savings plan.

If we had a magic wand, every school would be where parents want to send kids and kids want to go. Pragmatically, we need to phase it in.

I'm in favor of moving our remaining high schools to Metro service ... and I am also asking you to join me in working to make sure we treat students fairly whether they come from low-, middle- or upper-income backgrounds.

I'm not a showhorse. I'm a workhorse.

We're very encouraged by this.
