It gave me and the players a chance to see some of the other teams in the district and a lot of good teams in the area. We got to see how we compete with them. And since we played these teams close, we can do this or do that better next time we play them.

I told the kids that this was a game that we needed to win. Our district is so up in the air because everybody is winning and everybody is losing. It's just going to come down to who wants it and which team is stronger.

We hope to be able to give our fans an opportunity to help our community and victims of the hurricane.

We were coming off Christmas break and I knew we'd be rusty. Our defense could have been better. That's what hurt us. Usually at the end of the game is when our defense picks up, but we were having to play catch-up.

We were shooting well both inside and outside.

We just weren't shifting and rotating. So we had to go to man defense.

I think there has been a pick-up in the last three months of the year, even though December is not yet done and dusted.

We think they are doing it because of malpractice concerns. They may also be under pressure rom parents to 'do something' for their children.

We did shooting drills all week because we knew that jumpers were going to help us or hurt us. And tonight they hurt us. We missed 20 paint shots, and that's 40 points right there.
