"Charley M. Thomas" is a Canadian curler from Didsbury, Alberta who currently plays third for the Brock Virtue rink out of Calgary.

Thomas started his career with an Alberta Provincial Junior title in '04 and made his debut on the National and International Curling scene by representing Alberta and winning the 2006 Canadian Junior Curling Championships (Thunder Bay, Ontario) and 2006 World Junior Curling Championships (Jeonju, Korea). Thomas and team also qualified for the 2007 Canadian Junior Curling Championships by winning the 2007 Alberta Junior Provincials held at the Granite Curling Club (Edmonton)/Granite Curling Club in Edmonton, Alberta. He went on to win his second straight Canadian Junior title by defeating Brett Gallant's rink from Prince Edward Island as well as his second straight World Junior title by defeating Niklas Edin of Sweden.

After Juniors, Thomas skipped his own team before teaming up with Chris Schille, in 2008, throwing fourth stones for the team. Thomas played one season with Schille. Thomas returned to skipping between 2010 and 2014, and joined the Virtue rink for the 2014-15 season.

It was a good game. The Chinese played a lot better than they did in round robin. They have improved throughout the competition and we have been very impressed with them.

It's unbelievable. It (the ice) was curling awesome and the speed was great, and it was an exciting final. We were 4-4 at one point and just wanted to do Alberta proud. It's a dream come true.

We just weren't getting any breaks. Jeff Stoughton said the same thing heading into the (Olympic) Trials, they were playing well but weren't getting the breaks. Then things started falling into place.
