"Charle Edward Young" is a former American football tight end who played for 13 seasons in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1973 NFL season/1973–1976 NFL season/1976, the St. Louis Rams/Los Angeles Rams from 1977 NFL season/1977–1979 NFL season/1979, the San Francisco 49ers from 1980 NFL season/1980–1982 NFL season/1982, and the Seattle Seahawks from 1983 NFL season/1983–1985 NFL season/1985. He was drafted by the Eagles in the first round of the 1973 NFL Draft. He played college football at USC Trojans football/USC.
