We will have to have some older guys step up and perform better in order to win next week. It will certainly be nice to play at home for the next two weeks.

We scored three touchdowns in the second half. That's a lot for a junior high team playing with eight minute quarters.

We've had a great year with only one loss. The players and fans were going to remember this game because it was the last, and a loss would've been disappointing.

I am certainly proud of this team for finding a way to win this ballgame. But I don't think they are very pleased with the way they performed and neither are the coaches.

I was just disappointed in the amount of intensity that our team brought to the field. But, a win is a win, and we'll go out and try to get better this week and get ready for Randolph County.

Our offense did not play that well in the first half. We were able to score one touchdown, but we could not move the ball very well.

I am proud of the way this team has fought and scrapped so far, and I hope they continue to fight and scrap the same way. We started both games well today, but we need to learn to finish them the same way.

The defense played great at Wadley as well. They were not only getting tackles early to keep their offense from moving except for two big plays, but they were teaming up three or four at a time making sure they were not able to move anymore.

We did not know it at the time, but that was a crucial kick. From that point on the game was a stalemate. Neither offense could move the ball all night.
