It's his leadership. He works so hard that it rubs off on everyone. He played AAU all summer and didn't miss any of our team stuff. That says a lot about him right there. And all of our kids noticed that.

He does a great job of moving off the ball, and when the shots go up he finds that seam and seems to be there (for the rebound).

I think our kids almost like that. They almost thrive off of it.

Slow but sure, we kept spreading it out, and we never were going to let them come back within striking distance.

We knew we had to put a lot of pressure on the basketball to stop their inside game.

It feels real good, to own it all by yourself. Before the season, if anybody said someone's going 9-0 in the conference it would be hard to believe that. So I'm real proud of our kids, and now we've just got to keep moving on. There are better things down the road after this.

We knew we had to get him involved. They had him locked down pretty good in the first half, and they had to be thrilled that he only had four points. But once he hits one of those (3-pointers), he can get going and knock down a lot more.

As long as we kept the lead and made them have to guard us, we knew we were quicker.

These guys believe in each other and trust in each other and the coaches. The more the games get tense, the more we relax. I don't know if it's an adrenaline rush, but the guys get very level headed.
