Born in Southport, Queensland, Australia, Stoner raced from a young age and moved to the United Kingdom to pursue a racing career. After first competing internationally in 2002, Stoner became List of 500cc/MotoGP Motorcycle World Champions/MotoGP World Champion in 2007 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season/2007 for Ducati Corse. I lasted about 10 laps before the cramp hit my left leg. I knew I was only to last so long and at the end my whole body felt weak.

The start was great and I felt really comfortable out front and just concentrated on doing my own thing, but as the fuel got lighter I wasn't able to up the pace as I lost some rear grip. My physical condition was also a factor today and I wasn't feeling 100%.
