After speaking with the teacher and principal there, I found the situation to be somewhat of an isolated incident.
I'm respectful of the deep-seated culture in Sonoma County that embraces local autonomy and the independence of those local school districts.
I'd love to come up with a way to make them all the same.
Obviously, parents felt the need to include the schools as part of the boycott activities.
It is not uncommon for juniors and seniors to take a reduced load.
The high school exit exam still impacts only a very, very small number of regular ed students.
That's a little bit of a stretch for me.
The data raise some compelling questions. How could we work with young male students to instill the same set of attitudes as their female counterparts?
