We didn't execute during crunch time. They did a good job of shadowing Will, which everybody is going to do, but my guys stopped trying to get the ball to him. I don't know how many shots he got in the fourth quarter, but I bet he didn't get more than a handful.

We played with better intensity on defense in the second quarter. Plus, we converted on their turnovers. Overall, I'd say we played good defense.

It was hard for us to maintain our focus. We didn't have the killer instinct today and we played like it. We were not aggressive like normal, but Joe coaches that team very well and I was impressed with some of what I saw from those guys.

We have to come out and play our game. You have to get good shots. There is no doubt about it. That's what Foreman did in the third quarter.

[Our players] ran it right for a change. That's what happens when you're dealing with kids. Sometimes it sinks in.

We just came out scared. We haven't faced that kid of pressure before. They beat us in every phase of the game.

We told our kids point blank at half-time that they needed to play with more intensity and get back to fundamental basketball. I can guarantee that we will not take Rockford East for granted.

I wasn't happy that we committed so many lazy and stupid fouls in the first half. We weren't moving our feet and we were reaching too much and sent them to the line too many times in the first half.

For a change, we shot our free throws well. That is one thing we will keep practicing on because that is a big part of the game.
