We're in the heads of the other teams. We're coming in here like a freight train, and we scare the crap out of everybody.

We did free runs, nonstop. Just me and him. We just went snowboarding. We just went up, we made turns, we slashed. Instead of standing up at the top, letting pressure build staring into the pipe, we went out and had some fun.

I hope this wakes up the people who don't understand what this is all about. This is going to be on prime time in the U.S., so we'll see what the results are. I have a feeling it's going to influence a lot of people.

We just shook it out and got all the negative energy out.

I'm not surprised both of these guys were up on the podium, and Mason was in fourth. We had hoped to sweep the podium, I won't lie. We ended up with first, second and fourth, and that's still pretty darn good. I'm really psyched.

The rescheduling threw us all off. Everyone was a bit groggy this morning, but the riding was unbelievable. Gretchen rode as well as I've seen all year, throwing with grace and precision. This Grand Prix season has really pushed every U.S. rider. It's absolutely been the best riding I've seen in any contest.

Even though we pulled off an incredible sweep [in 2002], that wasn't predicted. Now that prospect hangs in people's minds, but we do have the talent to back it up. We've got 10 riders right here [in Mountain Creek] who could podium be on the podium at the Olympics.

We set some high goals. We wanted to sweep everything. We came really close. If Kelly had landed on her feet on that last run we would have swept.

I wouldn't say that they're gym rats. But there's an awareness that these things are important.
