We wanted to win Metro to continue our legacy. It's keeping the tradition going that was passed on from (former players) Jamal (Crawford), Rod (Stewart), D. Hudson and David King. It's all about passing the torch and keeping it going.

This feels a whole lot better.

It was a great academic school, and it fit me, basketball-wise. The players are awesome, and the coaches are real family-oriented.

I played well, but I still have a lot of guys to compete against. All three of our quarterbacks bring different aspects to the game. They're doing a great job of getting the ball to their receivers.

From what I've heard from coaches, that's what they look for and what they need, especially for Cal. They have some solid (centers).

I would pay over $400 to see Garth Brooks.

That definitely helped fire me up a little more. He's seen me play plenty of times so I didn't feel any pressure. It just energized me.

It was just nice to get out and play.

It was road rage. Some guy -- maybe he was drunk -- saw a sitting duck with a yellow helmet and couldn't resist.

We have some guys who are injured that I have to prove myself against.

It's good to kind of get back in the swing of school, have a fun senior year and not be stressed.

Our mayor, who was very busy last year learning how to be a mayor, this year actually took a wonderful leadership role, got into the budget with both feet.

It's a once in a lifetime thing to ride across the country, and he's doing it for a good reason -- for Habitat. We're happy for him.

Are we going to build a house without doors and windows, or are we going to put doors and windows in the dang thing so it can be used?

I didn't know this was here. I had a lot of fun. It was a great way to spend the night.... The pie was really good.
