People are going to form their opinions. The only thing I can do is stress that it wasn't intentional, wasn't premeditated and I hope he gets back soon.

It's good to see guys sticking up for one another. Everyone gets along in this room, and if you see one of our guys take a cheap shot, we will go after him.

I don't agree with it, but I understand where they're coming from.

Anytime there's a serious injury, they have to act on it, but the three games -- I was surprised about that based on how the conference call went.

The way we're going right now, we'll be lucky to have that record we did two years ago. I don't see any signs of a turnaround yet, unfortunately.

The whole thing was an accident. It's unfortunate.

I don't know; we had a lot of guys two years ago who showed up every night, and you knew exactly what you were going to get. But I don't know; we seemed like we played with a lot more emotion then.

Nobody was comfortable; everybody realized the opportunity they had. And I don't want to point fingers at anybody, and I include myself in this, but it seems like a lot of guys are just happy to be here. Guys don't seem to realize the opportunity we have, but they need to realize that on a lot of other teams, we wouldn't be getting this opportunity.

He's going to be targeted just with who he is. You have to earn the respect of your peers around the league when you're that young. He's awfully mature for his age, but at the same time, he's 18. He's done a great job with it, but I think anyone in his position at that age would get frustrated at times. He's only going to learn from it.
