I don't think that's ever been done in school history, winning four Long Island championships in a row. Each time we make history, it's exciting. It's exciting to move on to try and get our ultimate goal.

I'm excited. We know we have to get it done tomorrow if we're going to get it done.

Coach just told me to do my job. She has faith in me to keep us in the game and boost the team's spirits. I've never been one to strike out a lot of batters, so a good defense is key for me.

There's a lot to do here.

We came out with a sense of urgency today. We didn't know as much about this team as the others we've faced in this game and then we knew this was for states, which raised our intensity even more.
