Best Buddies actually sent some Valentine's Day cards over to the soldiers, and they put our (phone) cards into the valentines, so that was really cool.

We couldn't send them the actual cell phones overseas; they could be tracked by insurgents who might want to cause them harm. It's safer and more efficient this way.

It's been really incredible to know that you have so many people that back you and care about what you're doing. Just knowing that you helped somebody and that you really made a difference is great. To talk to a soldier who thanks us for sending a phone card is wonderful.
