It's entirely appropriate that we get to sail Dennis Conner and Stars & Stripes on the first day...Britain, who hasn't been in the Cup for 15 years, sails against the team that hasn't missed one.

I'm really totally convinced, and I can't predict the time frame, but someday these cartoonists, like Charles Schulz, will have the same reputation in American culture as Mark Twain. This location has tremendous potential for attendance if we do it right.

I'm just trying to be Iain's eyes really.

Regardless of people's skepticism, I am pursuing what is (and has been) my dream for my own purposes. I appreciate the importance that so many others have placed on this effort, but I would still do it if I was alone and no one was watching.

He was antsy before we went out and couldn't hardly sit still. But for the first time out, he had some good stuff. It was a good start, but he knows there's some room for improvement.

The designers and builders have done a great job completing GBR 78 so quickly and it will be a great boost to the team to have her out here for the start of racing.

Ryan's got an effective jump serve and he's a solid blocker. He's definitely the guy who should be our top scorer.

We were about to sell it. The car did not run - it must have sprouted wings and flown.

The curling team had not fared well to that point. There was no definitive end in sight, and we had to make a decision. Had we stayed with the curling match, we would have missed the first five minutes of the hockey game.

(The deputy) said it looks more scraggly and thinner than it did, ... That's even more dangerous because he's probably hungry.

He says he's taking care of them the best he can, ... We've never charged him because he's always cooperated with us. He tells us every time we come out here that he's not going to do this again. We thought he had learned his lesson, but evidently he hasn't.

He's the classic case of just dogged determination and perseverance. He's stuck to it and has been able to accomplish that. That's his dream. That's his passion. That's what he lives for and he's been able to do it. Not many people get to that spot and kids need to hear stories like his.

There's a number of errors ranging from where the course area was, the length of the course, as well as procedural errors...it's probably the first America's Cup race that's gone around an island since 1851.

We've learned that people want to get as close to the Games as possible.

I earn my money here in Framingham, and I spend my money here in Framingham.

The chance to sail with Iain is very attractive, a big draw.

It isn't lost on me that sailing with guys like Iain is pretty awesome, ... Ben's sailing with me in Sardinia. It's good that we all get on; it's a big contrast to British sailing 20 years ago.
