Once we had made the strategic decision to sell PacifiCorp, which changes significantly the shape and scale of the group, it was necessary to review our management, operating and cost structures for the continuing businesses.

We key on a lot of stuff in this defense. I did have some input because I played this team seven times in the past three years with the Vikings. I just let some of the coaches and the guys know what it was going to be like.

I regret that this was necessary. This was not what I wanted - they are good friends and colleagues. But their roles are no longer needed.

I've seen that offence too many times. Those guys are capable of coming out and lighting it up.

Since the sale of PacifiCorp, we've been looking to restructure.

That's too bad. I think this is a quality team with a lot of character ... from the top down.

I'm disappointed that we weren't able to get E.ON to make a higher bid, ... but they were absolutely adamant that that was their final offer.

That's not the way I was thinking about it. Selling PacifiCorp and returning the money to investors was the right decision for shareholder value.

We are paid to create shareholder value, ... At the moment, we see the only way to create value is to concentrate on our core businesses.

They've got a lot of talent. You can't focus on one guy. They can run it, and they can throw it.

The final proposition from E.ON was not one we felt we could recommend to shareholders.

I think the interceptions have a lot to do with the underneath coverage.

Our underlying business performance has been good, ... We have taken a number of steps to sharpen our focus on improving shareholder value.

Tablet PCs are really taking off. The Motion slate versions [such as the LS800] are our bestsellers. Now that they finally have the software applications to go along with it and the cost has come down closer to regular notebooks, tablet PCs are becoming more popular in markets like health care.

I'm just happy to be part of a winning game plan. To come in here and win the game while No. 4 [ Brett Favre ] is coming on hard in the fourth quarter [17 points], that's quite a boost for this team.

It's huge. It does a lot for us, but really, we didn't go into the Green Bay game thinking we didn't have a chance. We came to get a W. It just feels really good to sit back and enjoy.

If an offer is received, we will consider that on its merits.
