She had a big night. You can always credit hitters for hitting well, but if they aren't getting a good ball, it doesn't matter how good a hitter is.

One of our goals was serving. All the girls did a very good job. I don't think we started missing serves until that last game. They all did real well. All I asked for them was to challenge each pass and I think they did a good job, each one of them.

We were picking up their hitters early and closing in on the block.

The key to the game was that we had to serve them strong to keep them out of their system, not to give them an easy ball. We had quite a few errors, but you've got to take that risk.

Eagle Valley passed really well and started digging well. On some attacks they didn't put a block, and their back row was digging up the ball. The work Rob (Crawford) has done with them on defense has really paid off.

I think more it's a test of where we are in our own system. That's how we have to look at it. We're playing our system. When we were down a little bit here or there, 'Were we able to hold things together? Were we able to stay in the system?' And the girls did a fantastic job.

I cleared out the bench. We were working on serving and defense, and both did real well.

That was the key going into it that they're great middles. We just had to manage them. Yeah, they're going to have great kills and people are going to go crazy. But we have to know that we've got to continue to play solid defense.

If our attack got blocked, we picked the ball back up, and made the defensive transition.
