It's really hard to say whether they've slowed down, ... There's been some construction going on (on the railroad tracks), and when you see them going30 miles per hour, you don't know if it's because of the construction or the resolution.

The danger isn't the crossing. The crossing is as safe as you can make it. The danger here continues to be that the trains are traveling within 35 feet of our (school) playground. With hazardous materials, and if there were a derailment, it could kill the whole population of the school.

We got through one phase of it and convinced state lawmakers of its importance, ... Now, we have to stand up against the railroad and maybe even the federal government to make them understand our situation here.
