I think . . . it's going to recognize our student-athletes on a better playing field. Before, everybody tried to use it against us in recruiting - they're not in a conference - so that's one. Plus, we'll be able to recognize their achievements, not just on the mat but in the classroom as well.

The execution was a lot better tonight. There were one or two technical things, but we can build off all of this.

We don't have a returning All?American or a guy that placed before. But we have an opportunity, individually, to make the best of it for ourselves. If we give 100 percent for seven minutes every match, we are going to be fine.

We are not going in like we have in the past, to get in the top 10 in the team standings. We are going in there to take care of ourselves in each individual match and the team score will follow.

Nick got taken down twice early but he didn't panic. Nick kept moving him around then he finally got a takedown and took the lead.

He was tall and skinny and had no real muscle strength. Now, he is wiry strong. He has worked extremely hard and put himself in a position to get to the national tournament and hopefully to do good things.

It's frustrating how we lost our awareness out there. I don't accept it, but I'd rather let it happen now and not happen at a regional or a national tournament. We're going to see those guys again, and we'll see what happens then.
