Probably the biggest difference was we attacked the basket better. The kids were a little more confident down the stretch. And we played very well defensively. For our game plan with what we wanted to do defensively, the kids got an A plus tonight.

The kids did a nice job. Tumwater is a pretty good shooting team. We just gave up the two big runs.

They played pressure defense on us. We had some difficulty getting into our offense and taking care of the ball. A lot was due to their defensive pressure which took us out of what we liked to do.

I told the kids that the first half was the best we've played so far (this season). It is hard, in games like this, to keep that momentum. We came out focused and got some rolls that we haven't had in the past, especially in the first quarter.

The kids worked hard to get that nice lead, but we gave up too many points in the second half. Timberline is going to be really good one year from now. They have some very good young talent. (Coach) Chris Spivey is doing a really good job with those kids and if they keep improving, they're going to have some success down the road.

We've got to do that for four quarters.
