It was kind of ugly because we had such an off-night shooting. Plus, we didn't take care of the ball as well as we should have. Fortunately, the defense stepped up and got the job done.
We had a few too many fouls, but that's probably the result of it being a typical, physical CIML-type game. It was a good win for us.

He came up big in the fourth quarter. In that period he had four steals, two rebounds and an assist. His play was instrumental when we came from six down to win.
We're pleased to get a win over a CIML school because that's what we're preparing for. Next year we'll be in the CIML Iowa Conference, the same conference as Marshalltown.
We just need to improve in every area.
I think I was the only one that looked upset. It didn't look like we had the fire to make a run.
They came out swinging; we took their punches and swung back harder. They got the first few licks. They're a good team. We knew we'd be fighting for our lives.
