Our diamond racket will stay in Belgium for at least another year. Obviously we were looking forward to have Venus once again in our tournament. She has been a key player in the promotion of our event and is incredibly popular in Belgium. But as with other top players, injuries have been putting her back. Fortunately we still have an incredible field with 6 top 10 players.

Kim really believes in her chances, provided her recovery is going according to schedule, and that her first training sessions don't cause her problems either. Quite logically she would rather play for her home audience and distribute the champagne herself and in tennis clothing, than just passing by.
