It was a rough game. They have good athletes, they are physical. We had our hands full, no question about it. But our defense won this game.

He's a very intelligent player with speed and size and he hits.

In high school, it's a critical position. A bad snap is worth 50 yards of field position.

He's 100 percent now. He went to conditioning classes and you'd never know he was injured at all.

It's been a while since our defense won a game. We were on the ropes. They probably had 35 snaps the first quarter and a half and our defense just hung in there, tough as nails. They had a great game.

Experience at that position is vital. With nine games under his belt, and the leadership he's shown, he is a big key to leading the front seven.

We're looking for him to make good decisions and run our offense like he did last season.

He's a very physical kid and is one of our toughest kids, especially on the pass rush side of things.
