He's almost dismantled the Eagles. Why would you wish that upon us?
Our problems did start there. I certainly remember it and I'd like to think that everybody remembers that to be motivated. We should be.
I certainly wasn't proud of that. And the players weren't proud of it. None us were. That's not the kind of team ... that's not the kind of effort that we want to have. That's just totally unacceptable and we're not going to have that.
I think everyone appreciates it. I was completely amazed that Arizona, the Cardinals, Arizona State and the two teams involved were able to make that kind of change on such short notice. I think that's amazing. When I first heard it, I thought it was some mistake. I think it was an amazing job and the community there has our gratitude.
He is not here to interview for a coaching job. He is not here to evaluate the coach, he is not here to evaluate the general manager.
I don't want to be in this position again. This is an exciting time, but this isn't the spot you want to be in for obvious reasons.
Some people think this is a ploy. It's not. We think he's just as dominant a player on defense as Reggie is on offense. The thing we've been missing has been a pass rush.
He can be another Reggie White. That's what our people think.
I know we're not going to win a lot of games this year. But this one Sunday might be one we'll win, so I expect to win it.
