It was nice to see us come out again (offensively). We've been swinging the bats well. We sent six batters up in the first and pushed two runs across. We had runners stranded in every inning but the fifth, so we had opportunities. I'm really pleased with our performance.

We stranded a lot of runners. We had the bases loaded in the first and didn't do anything.

This was a great test for Bailey. The bright spot was she only gave up one run after the first inning.

I was really pleased with the way we came back. It told me a lot about the girls coming back like they did.

That's a good way to go up the middle.

I was anxious to see how Amber would come out. She was a little tired but she did a nice job moving the ball. Then Bailey (Franklin) did a nice job coming in.

All around, this was just a great performance as a whole.

We're very pleased with the way the girls played. The young ones did what they needed to do and it was good to get an early win under our belts.

The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.
