The team wrestled very well against top competition and I think we did regain some respect from everyone down there. There were only powerhouse teams ahead of us.
I knew it was going to be tough getting another victory against them. We need some matches like we had last year (a 52-16 Milton win). But we lost all the close matches. We haven?t wrestled well in our own gym this year.
Maybe we can wrestle in our own gym.
He knew that he had to get stronger. Charlie?s time was spent where he needed to ? in the weight room.
We haven't wrestled well in this gym all season, but we did today. Danny had a great day. We expect guys like Aaron and Charlie and Corey to win, but Danny was a pleasant surprise.
I think Aaron was a little tentative and gave Darling a little more respect than he should have. He just needs to open it up.
We are so happy to get Brock and Aaron to states but Charlie's loss put a sour note on everything. It was a good day and a bad day.
What a day Brock had. Brock had all kinds of confidence today. He got better with each match and had a great tournament.
If you lose by hanging back, you will always regret it.
