I would have liked to see her include more of the local artists in events. It would have helped us get recognized and would have helped attendance at the museum. To me, it just didn't seem that the museum ever reached out to us. I would like the new director to invite all the local artists (to the museum) and get their ideas or suggestions. At least consider us.

About 35 percent of our business used to be entry-level buyers. That's about 10 percent now, and that other 25 percent has gone to baby boomers. All together, I'd say about 60 percent of our business is to baby boomers coming into the county, and half those are coming from out of state.
They also like being half way between Tampa and Orlando.
We used to let the kids bring their friends and teammates to the soda fountain after hours. They could have anything they wanted. Those were great times.
