I think anybody that's driven like that, there's always that potential. And that's why he knows he needs a whole team working behind him.

For a variety of reasons we can speculate on, he didn't make it into the Hall of Fame. But unquestionably, those who remained in football and knew of him and who knew football, they were all confident he would get in the Hall.

And we accomplished as 'Bennie's Boys' a lot of good things for the university, and I think it made our group that much stronger. Not just get-togethers for fun's sake, but we helped the university and future athletes at the school.

The traditional book is still the basic model.

There was no question he was one of the dominant football players of the era of the late 1920s and early '30s. We recognized this and, fortunately, the members of the Hall of Fame committee were kind enough to look at the material we put together. Every time I read it, I am proud of what my teammates have done. ... It has come to fruition.

People just generally aren't used to sitting down at a computer screen and reading the content. Screen delivery has come a long way, but it just is not there yet.

You just can't do that easily with an e-book.
