We do see him as a future third baseman. In my mind, and this is strictly my mind, I'd like to see him get in the lineup, and if it has to be as an outfielder, we might discuss that with him for the first year, just to get his bat in the lineup. He's a big guy with power with an arm and good hands.

We came here to make one trade and we made two. So that's pretty good.

You're not going to get value in any way, shape or form. This is an A-1 hitter and you're not going to get an A-1 player that somebody is going to give you. So if you trade him, you're not going to get the same value, man for man, and sometimes four players don't even add up to one.

Not so much meeting with other clubs, but going over our options. There's several things out there that we have interest in, but whether it's close or not, I wouldn't say we're close.

It's basically a tough position to fill. We've made some preparations for that over the last week or so.

We acquired a ready player for the major leagues. In our opinion, he's ready to go.

I like those two guys. I like them on our team.

There was an adjustment period that may have lasted longer than you had hoped. The Braves feel he will become the shortstop of his earlier years, and I hope he does.
