I thought we did a good job guarding them. The only place where we lacked in the first half was on the boards. They out-rebounded us (21-14) in the first half, but I thought we did a better job of getting on the boards in the second half.

Burrell has been in a slump, but he's playing out of it. I'm hoping he's getting back to his old self.

I thought we were a little bit sluggish in the second half when they cut it down to 16, but then we started playing a little bit better.

Obviously this is the biggest game of the year at this point of the season.

Going through that type of tournament at the regional really gets you prepared for the national tournament.

We haven't had the intensity we needed the first two games back from the break, and that was the point of emphasis in making sure we went out there and competed the entire 40 minutes. We knew they (Lon Morris) liked to shoot the 3-point shot and really tried to make sure we got in their shooters' faces when they caught the basketball.

We were solid all night, and I think we did a really good job on the boards. There are still areas we need to improve on, and we need to do a better job of working the clock and being aggressive.

We've been playing pretty good defense lately. We seemed to have lost our defense after coming off the (holiday) break, but we have regained our confidence that we had before the semester ended. Now we just need to maintain it.

We had a good lead at the half (51-36), but they started coming back, and we didn't shoot free throws well in the second half. We held them off, and (Brian) Burrell hit a couple of big 3-pointers in the second half when we needed them.
