"Sir Bernard Ingham" is a British journalist and former HM Civil Service/civil servant who is best known as Margaret Thatcher's chief press secretary while she was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990. He was knighted in Mrs Thatcher's 1990 resignation honours list.
