But [the alumni association] is definitely considering a project in Collin County to do something to alleviate the issue. What it is, I don't know. But I never would have known about it if I didn't go on this count.
What we don't need in a school or a classroom is for a teacher to say, 'These poor black children. They really have it tough,' and not set the bar high enough for them.
We're training folks to take those jobs and incumbent employees.
If you look at this from a purely financial stand point, this is helpful because it will not be taking additional (money) from the general budget.

I don't totally believe that all of the politicians see a problem with the gap between the scores of black children and other groups. I believe that many politicians think this has been the way it has always been, so what's the problem?
