We have not made a determination about where the bears will go. My goal is to find the best and most appropriate place for these bear cubs to live out their days.

I've told my ministry staff to work with the authorities in Alberta should it appear that we have an appropriate location for the bear cubs. I don't want bureaucratic red tape getting in the way of a good outcome for these two cubs.

This whole case has been disturbing. We're reviewing procedures within the ministry about how we can monitor and regulate these companies.
