That you had a Mexican president willing to stake and invest political capital in the relationship with the United States and that he has nothing to show for it puts everyone in a very tight spot in Mexico.

But 60 days is a hell of a long time in an election. The trick here now is to sustain the momentum that we have achieved.

Foreign policy issues are not the ones that are going to elect the president.

He better understand how the U.S. society works and clicks to be able to protect the 8 million undocumented Mexicans in the United States.

We have the momentum. This is a two-man race, that's clear, and now we have to build on that momentum.
