The fact is, the technology universe has always been a fabulous source of wealth creation - and wealth destruction.

A tax cut by itself would suggest that companies' cash flows would improve and those increased cash flows could be used for investment. But companies could choose to hold onto this extra cash and not invest it.

This year we're using two terrific venues we haven't used in the past; the Hartford Stage Company and The Bushnell. We'll be doing stand-up comedy in the Bushnell Theater, which is a first for First Night in 17 years.

Investors still have an appetite for companies that have a shot at greatness.
