Their zone really gave us a lot of problems tonight. It's difficult to be successful if you give the ball away.

I didn't bring that up, because I've tried to move away from it. We've done it now. We can check it off. It was becoming one of the major talking points.

Tonight was disappointing. After the 10-minute mark (of the first half), it just was not our night. We had a hard time again getting into any offensive rhythm.

He certainly is improving. We're all happy to see that. We needed that from him.

Our young men laid it on the line but Rhode Island made the plays and we did not. It was a one-possession game. We didn't execute the way we would have liked to.

It was just a great win for our program. That's another sign of progress from where we started to where we are now. I'm really proud of our young men. To go into overtime in Florida International's arena and to dig down and find a way to win was awesome. It was just a great effort.

It's a great story and I'm very happy for him. I continue to wish him the best. Mike and his family did what they felt was best for Mike at the time. I understood that at that time and still understand that now.
