One of the guideposts he uses is, are they individuals who will be good for the business climate in Texas and in particular those who support reasonable tort reform.
Dr. O'Donnell is the right leader for District 78. As a (former) principal, she understands how critical a quality education is for the children of El Paso. Dr. O'Donnell also champions accountability, and reasonable civil justice reforms, while fighting against a state income tax -- she's the right choice for El Paso and Texas needs her leadership.
