"Andy Landers" is the longtime head coach of the University of Georgia Georgia_Lady_Bulldogs_basketball/Lady Bulldogs basketball team. He married the former Pam McClellan in 1981 and has two children, Andrea Lauren and Drew Joseph.

Following the 2007–08 season, Landers had compiled an overall record of 789–246 (.762) and a record of 707–225 (.760) at University of Georgia/Georgia.

Landers graduated from Friendsville (Tenn.) High School in 1970, then attended and graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 1974 with a degree in Physical Education.

In 1975, Landers began his coaching career at Roane State Community College, compiling an 82–21 record over four seasons before Vince Dooley made the 26-year-old his first hire as athletic director at Georgia.

The Lady Bulldog program Landers inherited had compiled a 37–85 record in its first six seasons and had virtually no budget. However, in his first season, Landers led the Lady Bulldogs to a 16–12 record, and by his fourth year in Athens, Georgia/Athens, he had taken them to their first of five NCAA Final Fours. By 1985, the Lady Dogs were in the National Championship game.

She's the quickest player on the floor. The way that she scored she ought to score, driving past people and laying it up.

I'm not surprised. I'm glad.

It's great that the NCAA has seen fit to grant Ebony this sixth year, ... Hopefully, her rehab will continue to go well and the doctors will clear her. Regardless, I'm excited that Ebony has this option.

We realize after the Tennessee game that we're not real effective defensively. You don't have a lot of time to work on it this time of year ... but it was a focus of our halftime to apply more pressure.

We're just not a consistently good defensive basketball team.

The thing that concerns me the most is the contrast between Miami and Tennessee. You're talking about going from a big, somewhat methodical offensive basketball team to a small, extremely quick, unpredictable offensive basketball team.

This year every top team is a hopeful.

It certainly raises the bar as far as the challenge before us.

Given our circumstances and all the things that have happened to us, I think we're the only place we can be. We're playing good basketball. We're reasonably healthy. We've just got to prepare and make sure that we're rested and see if we can survive a 40-minute battle with a very deep team.
