It was a wild one today. The wind was howling and we had a few questionable calls from the judges go against us. I feel good heading into tomorrow. An 11-point deficit isn't too hard to overcome.
I really felt we had to get to the free-throw line by getting penetration inside, and in the first half I think we were too timid. We also needed to take care of the basketball. That's an outstanding team over there, and you can't win if you don't take care of the basketball.
The doctor's said that I couldn't come back. But coach (Jack) Clark was always optimistic that I would be back for this.
Great basketball teams are great during crunch time. I don't think we gave them the game. They stepped up and took it from us.
