This is a lifelong dream. We have high expectations at Grandview and he set his goal this year. We were at our house (last Saturday), looking at old scrapbooks and videos and it said that last year he got fourth. He told me that this year he was going to be standing on the No. 1 spot.

His healthy has improved a lot. That's big for the team. He's pretty much the backbone of our team. He's been going easy in practice. He's one of seven league champs.

Our five going can make it to state. We'll have to prove that (this) week. I feel good about our chances.

All four going to state this year can place. Two have already and the other two have beaten guys that have placed. I'm looking forward to the big show and it's always a great thing. I always tell them they are in the top 16 in their weight out of a couple hundred.

It's a good feeling to get there. Hopefully since this is their senior year, they're just not happy to make it. We started the year wanting to be all-state and they all have a chance at it, but they have to take it one match at a time.

We had to win the Licking Heights match on a default from Zach. They guy hit Zach in the head a few times and I pulled him out because of prior concussions injuries. He's done for the year due to re-aggravating his injury last Friday.

We're doing pretty well. I think we're going to be a better tournament team than a dual meet team. So we should be in the mix at the Invitational. We always try to win our own tournament. Hopefully we'll do well at home.

We're getting healthy. Chad is about at 85 percent and we're hoping he's 90 by Friday and hopefully 100 by district. But we're still kind of banged up, but a lot of teams are banged up going into the postseason.
