We are very fortunate to have the kind of kids we have. They work very had and they trust the system.

It's a big task, but we're ready and we're up for the challenge. We're just going to go out there and have fun. Play together and play strong. We really won't have much pressure on us because we're the underdogs. I think we'll have a lot of fight in us.

We've been waiting on this for a long time. We've had our struggles, but these kids have worked hard and gutted it out this year.

It won't mean a thing Saturday night, unless we make it mean something.

Micah made big plays. Micah's a special kid and we're glad to have him.

Everyone in the gym knew he was going to take those shots. A lot of guys say they want to take the big shot. Rashad always wanted to take the big shot. He still does.

I feel happy for myself that I did something nice for people who don't have stuff.

They were coming at us so we just had to take it up a level and go right back at 'em. There was a little bit of nerves [at the beginning] and we just calmed down. We came out in the third and just played hard.

We just wore them down in the second half. ... Good luck [to them in the district tournament].

We were very patient. And we executed very well.

With all the uncertainty, you were the right person for the job. The ship's been righted. I'd like to say, 'No, we're not going to accept your resignation.' I guess that's not possible.

We knew this season was going to be fun, coming out without any superstars or anything. We knew if we came together as a team and worked hard, we could accomplish a lot.

We were trying to preserve the distinct character that's there in the region.

We don?t build ?me? guys, we build ?we? guys. I got down and dirty with Rashad as much as coach Calhoun has. If he messed up, I told him so. I sat him on the bench. A lot of kids take that and it breaks them. Rashad is very much a strong rubber band.
