(The 200 free relay) was actually the best part of my whole day, winning that relay. Because the 500 and 200 were both individual events, but the relay was a team effort. I was very happy with that.

Basketball's over so I was just trying to get my legs. I felt good today. I'm just trying to get ready for [EYL play]. I didn't know I was going to last this long. I was trying to have some fun and I was relaxed. Maybe that's why I did so well.

It's one thing for someone to walk a dog up there. I walked out there many times myself. It's another thing to have a bunch of young children, whose bodies are still growing and developing, playing soccer, falling down and rolling on the ground, and spending a large amount of time there every week.

It feels great. We've been going at this hard for the last four months, trying to get to this point, and we did it. The feeling is as good as I thought it would be.

As long as it was close, I was going to bring it home, and I was going to win it.

It worked out perfect. I was so happy with how it went. I was so proud of my teammates and everyone. Just a great meet.

I think we have a good chance to win county. We have more experience and team depth this year than we did last year, which gives us more options (to score points).

Not many people get to say what I say about my team. When I practice, I'm practicing with some of the best swimmers in the state. They push me, and I push them as well.

The city took it upon themselves to reclaim the site for reuse. It was never approved by the agencies.

About halfway down that second 25, I realized I was ahead of everyone else. I just put my head down and pretty much knew we were going to win it.

It's been a great season for me. My times got consistently faster the whole year.
