It was great to finally get it, because I heard most of the guys already got it who were on other teams, and I didn't know when I was going to get it. The (general manager) asked to see me after the game, so I just went, and he gave me my stuff. It was nice. It's pretty precious, and it's going to look good on my fireplace.

That's how we did it when we were kids, outdoors on the pond or whatever.

Tomas did a good job sticking up for Sid, and it's good to see the guys stick up like that.

Obviously, he's the star player on our team. Wherever he goes, he's an attraction. Teams, I think, approach games by saying, 'We've got to hit him and play in his face and play gritty.' But Sid has done a great job all year dealing with that.

It's good now to keep a positive attitude and have fun.

I tried to go backhand and maybe I got hooked. I just kind of tried to go backhand and it just slid between the legs. It was a lucky goal but I'll take it.

I've been on teams like Ottawa and Tampa Bay, and when we played the last place team we'd think, all right, this is a good night for every guy to get a goal or whatever. Everyone looks at it that way.

Sometimes it's hard to get going because it's early, but I think once you're in the warm-up, you're ready to go. And I kind of like them in a way because you get done early.

I had to do something. (Neil) said, 'Your guys are running our guys.' I told him, in the playoffs, that's the way it'll be. You better stop whining and get used to it. The farther you go in the playoffs, the rougher it gets.
