While you can take precautions by eating right and living healthy, there's never a guarantee that you will be safe from getting [cancer]. It's a terrible disease.

I have felt a real connection to these [autistic] students. Being in Girl Scouts in general has really helped me grow as a person. I like having met many different kinds of people.

Many schools are moving toward using aqua turf [instead of grass] because of that.

Through PALS I met these autistic kids and do things with them, like bowling or going to the movies.

[PALS] is a great program. It has really influenced me.
