With all of the prestige and the great players that have come through UH, it's a nice accolade to have. It's a good feeling to be with some of the great defensive players in Hawaii history.

They're a good team, I think we have gotten better, we're improving. We're not playing perfect volleyball but we're making strides to where we want to be.

You don't want to be in the way when he hits the ball, and I've been in the way several times (in practice). Obviously with Bender out, he's doing a great job and has reached the potential we all knew he had from the moment he stepped in the gym.

Mau was so fired up tonight - he was a spark plug in the middle. He did a good job, hustling, getting digs. He'll have to take the (libero) jersey.

It is emotional. But when we're playing, we're playing and we're not thinking about those things.

You can't play good for 25 points and then let up, you have to really finish better and much stronger for the last 5 points.

In 10 years, I see him as being very rich and having a family. When we come back for the alumni game in 10 years, maybe we'll be playing or maybe we'll be on the sidelines laughing.

We just expect to play the same volleyball that we've been trying to play all season and have been playing all season.

Crazy. That's one word that can explain all this. It was all fun and it was just unbelievable to play a match at that high of level and magnitude with these people.
