We are on or above targets we set.

We are operating in a manner that we unfortunately must do, under the circumstances.

(The price of zinc) has increased dramatically, especially in the past year.

Unfortunately, we don't have any assurance at this point that we'll get a deal, although that's certainly our goal.

That's a nuance that is left, really, to the bargaining table. We told the union that despite the fact that we're going to continue operating the plant, we are very interested, always have been, in reaching a new agreement.

Just shy of 150 employees is what I'm hearing signed up for retirement on Feb. 28.

This is not chest-thumping. This is not done to intimidate. It is about serving our customers.

Unfortunately, we've experienced labor disputes long term. We're not looking to have a repeat of that experience.

Needless to say, the company is extremely disappointed.
